Agency reviews and comments

Response
The entire crew at Conceivabilities was helpful, thoughtful and there with us 100% of the way.
What can I say? We were successful in every way and are proud parents of a beautiful child. The agency asked us to provide a review which we are doing with great pleasure. We just loved our surrogate, a blessing we never would have imagined without having gone through this ourselves. Everything was perfect and impressive.
Paula Wirth, our Case Manager/Program Coordinator, was wonderful to work with. She was extremely at tentative and helpful throughout every step of the process. My husband and I (and our GC) felt very lucky to have her on our side during and after the entire journey.
Surrogacy is a complicated process with a lot of moving parts. Overall, Conceiveabilities produced a child and was very understanding during the process. Communication is key.
Overall ConceiveAbilities was wonderful. They did an outstanding job matching us with our surrogate and the match happened pretty quickly. Our personalities matched perfectly with those of our surrogate and her husband. This was very important to us and definitely made the process easier and a lot more fun than we could have imagined. There as one glitch when we were negotiating our contract with our surrogate that was the fault of ConceiveAbilities. They had recently changed the way they did their surrogate compensation packages and our surrogate, who had previously been a surrogate with them, did not fully understand the changes. They have supposedly corrected this issue, but make sure your surrogate understands the compensation package and the negotiation process. The communication from our case manager could probably have been better after we had been matched, but since this was our surrogate's second surrogacy we didn't really need much involvement from the agency. We were in the NICU for two weeks with our twins since they were born at 34 months and we only got one call while we were there from our case manger and no calls from anyone else at ConceiveAbilities. For the amount of money we paid them it would have been nice for them to have checked on us. A care package would have been a nice touch as well since we were from out of town and had not planned on being in the NICU for two weeks. But overall we were very pleased with ConceiveAbilities. Their main job is to make sure they match the right intended parents with the right surrogates in a timely manner and they definitely did this for us.
I cannot imagine a better partner in the surrogacy process than Conceiveabilities. They were professional and warm, knowledgeable and supportive, and could not have made what can be an arduous, complicated process any smoother.
