About New England Fertility:*Dr. Gad Lavy founded New England Fertility in 1991, with the goal of providing state-of-the-art fertility treatment to couples and individuals seeking help conceiving. New England Fertility was the first non-hospital-based outpatient in vitro fertilization (IVF) center in the state of Connecticut, as well as the first infertility treatment center in Connecticut to have a baby born from a cryopreserved egg. New England Fertility was also a pioneer in providing innovative fertility therapies such as intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), and egg freezing, and is recognized as one of the largest egg donor/gestational surrogacy programs in Fairfield County, Connecticut.* This description was provided by the service provider.

Dr Lavy is fantastic! Shantai Bonilla as well! |
Overall bad experience with clinic personnel, especially communication and responsiveness. |
They messed up everything. Did not follow our requests and orders. |
They did not give the necessary support to our egg donor. When she called them to ask questions, they acted like it was a huge imposition. Also, the person who liaises with other doctors, lawyers etc, lacked attention to detail and once even gave the wrong instructions to the egg donor regarding the proper dose for medicines, which is inexcusable. |
(2013, USA parents)
They were great communicators and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that I had to be very careful that they weren't charging us for services we were already getting from our surrogacy agency. And also, the process of providing a "specimen" could have been more gay friendly... I'll leave it at that. |
(2014, USA parents) Words are not enough to explain how amazing, awesome, caring, compassionate, attentive, considerate, and whatever other word we can use to describe this clinic, Dr. Lavy, Shantai Rivera-Bonilla, Shay, the english LPRN who's name fails me right now, but Just absolutely AMAZING. We fell in love with the place, the staff and every step was just beyond our expectations. |
(2021, USA parents) Dr. Lavy is the best fertility doctor one could ever work with. We've used New England Fertility Institute for two surrogacy journeys and both resulted in pregnancies on the first try with one embryo transfer. Their success rate is incredible and their team did a great job making us feel safe and informed. |
(2013, International parents) They are really not organized. You get different answers from different people there and they had many mistakes with the billing |
(2013, USA parents) Dr. Lavy was very helpful and his staff helped me pick a great donor. My carrier liked them too. |
(2020, USA parents) Dr. Gad Lavy and his lovely staff in Connecticut did an amazing job caring for us and our gestational carrier. He has extensive experience in third party reproduction and I would highly recommend him and his team. |
(2021, USA parents) My husband and I had a fantastic experience with New England Fertility. After a long struggle with failed IVF at another clinic, this journey was smooth, and the team was extraordinary. They guided us every step of the way, responded promptly, and were completely transparent about the costs. It was a truly life-altering experience, and their team made it lovely.
Dr. Gad Lavy is a brilliant physician and man. He is very nurturing and genuinely cares about building families. We are the proud parents of a healthy 21-month-old boy. He is our pride and joy; we owe it all to Dr. Lavy, his team, and our fantastic surrogate!
